I've been challenged to build this by a friend who thinks it would be as easy as turning the photoshopped New Norton 951 prototype into my Blue monoshocker:

The gauntlet is thrown-

Hmmmmmm... There's a local shop that has one of these Rokons with no engine as part of his old sign, I'm sure he'd let me have it for $50; I've got most of a Norton engine in an old rigid chopper frame...

(the oil drips will be the easy part)

That looks like somebody is going to get hurt!

I messed up my shoulder BAD after high-siding over the berm of a local dirt track while drifting at high speed on a maxxed-out 110 3-wheeler.

Ye, because that Rokon looks SOOOOO safe.

I think the first time I saw this was a post by Steve Striver the HOBOT many years ago. Any idea were or who did this? Norkon

Yep, a buddy of mine, on Photoshop (as far as I know). Could be he found it and forwarded it to me..

   Nice photoshop job. The Rokon is not very big so it's easy to see the Norton was shrunk to fit. Goes without mention that the Norton's huge power would just rip the gearbox and multiple u-joints to bits. I wish I had pictures of the worse Norton abomination I ever heard of, a snowmobile! Some nut had built this thing but the Norton motor was overheating beneath the bodywork so they had a duct throwing snow from the track onto the cylinder and head.

Unless two people did the Norton snowmobile conversion I may have seen it too. My first thought was good luck starting a Norton at 20 below zero.
