maximini said:I bought the rivets from British Only or Norvil. It is not hard to install the rivets but it is a two person job. I used a brass drift to get the initial hit or two and then used a ball peen hammer to peen them down. They actually peen down pretty easily. You back up the top side - i used a piece of hardwood. A couple of my original rivets were a little flat on top so I gave mine a wee hammer tap on the finish side when all were peened down so they looked like the originals.

After a fair amount of research I came up with a method and made a prototype disc. It was a lot of work and it feels like I could have gone back to school and gotten a medical degree faster, but if the finished discs look as good or better than the prototype I will be happy! If anyone is interested I can post some pics and a description of the process.
