IIRC the safety industry (govt?) has deemed teflon not any longer suitable for cook ware. Any one else seen this declaration? :?:
Sorry no help on slides...

If nothing sticks to Teflon, how do they get Teflon to stick to things?

Yes I had heard a few different things about teflon in cookware.....small scratches in the surface allow pieces to come off and get in with the food & cooking bacon in a teflon coated frypan will take the temperature up past what it can handle, .....sorry Bernhard , I don't know of any companies coating parts with the slippery stuff though. Cj

No disputing that, the quickest way to ruin any Telfon coated pan is to use too high a heat so that the Telfon bubbles, and then peels off, into your food.
