Hello
I have just removed the swinging arm to repair a fractured front chain guard mount, and I will be replacing the pivot bushes as a matter of course, although there was only the slightest discernable play in the swinging arm (I have Kegler type clamps fitted). However, the bush in one side of the swinging arm pushed out very easily by hand, in fact, it fell out. What can I do about this? Should I use some type of Loctite to hold it in place? If so, which type is recommended?
Many thanks for any help that you can give.

I have tried the tight bush in the loose side, and it is still loose. I am awaiting new bushes from Andover.

In that case your swingarm bore where the bush goes is worn, a blue Loctite will fill the gap and allow removal of the bush with a hot air gun if you ever need to renew again. Red loctite would need heating with a torch to release the bush.

That's what I would try or better yet the medium bearing set Locktite, but the bushings are oil impregnated so I'm not sure it will work.
