Hi Guys
I purchased a set of 1.5” dia. sweptback headers from Walridge Motors. After purchasing these pipes I realized my standard Peashooters (I didn’t know the headers were larger until I received them) would not work. I will purchase a correct size Peashooter in Stainless but before I go further I gotz to know! :?: I am wondering if the peashooter mufflers will fit up the same with the muffler brackets for a roadster muffler hanger. Is it the same or do I have to choose a different type of muffler? Clubman Racing has a small blip on the Sweptback and peashooters not fitting up. Does anyone have his or her Commando set up with this header Pipe and Peashooter?
Thanks a bunch in advance.

I had my original street/track bike fitted with swept back pipes and fluted 500 Manx megaphones from Unity Equipe. It had a unique sound unlike any other other english bike I have ever heard. I fabricated alloy plates to mount the mufflers as nothing lined up. I find it very unlikely that peashooters will line up unless you have some sort of very short swept back pipes but a little measuring and holding up the swept backs to the bike will tell you. I ended up throwing these pipes away after I damaged one side fairly bad in a Mosport crash.

Thanks Doug
Good to know. Did these pipes change your jetting much? It looks like you got Amals on the bike.

In the top pic the bike has Mikuni's and the bottom pic it ran Amals - I didn't change jetting when it ran Amals and it seemed to run well with the swept backs.
