I'm having a somewhat difficult time locating a second superblend for my impending rebuild. Walridge had one left, which I snagged, but none of my other suppliers seem to have any. Local industrial bearing suppliers can get one in but at about double the price (yes, I am a cheap bastard).
However yesterday I was looking at the Colorado Norton Works website and noticed that on their engine rebuilds they only use Superblends on the drive side, and SKF high capacity ball on timing side. The SKF is also about half the price of the Superblend.
I figure that there would be less strain on the timing side as opposed to the drive side so perhaps a second superblend wouldnt be necessary?
Someone has offered to lend me one of the superblends he has, but my concern is that I wont be able to replace it by the time he needs it for his rebuild, so I would feel more comfortable if I could find my own solution.

Any thoughts?

Hey Norbsa, the bike is still at Dereks place on the bench so I havnt had a chance to install the fork kit yet.

Damaged timing side case

I have a 750 engine with a few small cracks around the hole that houses the shaft for the intermediate timing gear.

This hole is somewhat distorted.

The top fin on cylinder barrel is broken and needs to be repaired.

Where can I get these parts repaired?

Thanks
