After removing the battery to store my 74 Commando I had no spark after re-installing it. The bike has a Sparx ignition and after much research found the ignitor box to be the problem. Why this happened no one can explain. I have talked to Bill at Rocky Point and Phil at Fair Spares as well as asked CNW if they carried the part but no luck Google search has not been helpful so far. Does anyone know if a replacement is available. If not I'll probably have to put an entirely new ignition system in it. Thinking of Tri-Sparks.

Thanks but mysteriously(after all this is an electrical problem) when I put the box back in for the 3rd time to run one final test before replacing, it magically sent power to the coil cluster and I have spark. I've been on a couple of 50mi. rides and the bike runs great. Oh well saved mucho dinero as well as time in the garage. Thanks.

that is more than likely a temporary situation. the sparks is probably the lowest quality ign on the market. I would recommend you to start saving your coins as it WILL fail.

That being the case I would carefully examine the wires. They are thin and prone to fail.
