Just got my new project bike home
It's got pazon sure fire ignition and no spark it's wired negative earth
Am I right in assuming that this ignition is pretty much the same as Boyer ?
IE can I test the CDI by touching the pickup wires together?
I have power at the CDI and power at the coils but no spark when the engine is turned over
And no spark when the ignition is turned on and off

Bin the adapters, change over to #10 ring terminals.

A thin layer of regular old chassis grease (😱) on all surfaces before assembly will keep the corrosion from ever returning.

Hi Baz,
From my and some other friends' experience with a Sure Fire, I know that those 2 connector terminal block screws may have a tendancy to unscrew due to heat and vibrations. It results in erratic ignition or no ignition. Worth being checked from time to time and easy to fix!

Thank you
I will make sure they are tight 👍
