A couple of years ago I bought a single Mukuni carb conversion kit. I did not run the bike much as I ended up rebuilding the head and putting in new pistons and rings. I now have the bike back together and running but for the life of me I can not find the instruction sheet that came with the kit. Also misplaced the extra jets but that is another story. If anyone has a copy that you can fax me or scan and e-mail me let me know. I think we can do PM's on this forum.
Thanks

We can only assume that you have a VM34. Do you have the manifold, gaskets and bolts? Put the manifold on and snug it up. 4 longer bolt for the manifold, 2 shorter for the flange. Next put on the rubber flange. No gasket required. Attach the throttle cable to the throttle and route cable the way you like.

Take the slide, needle, spring and what not out of the carb and attach the cable to the slide. This can be the trickiest part of the hole kit and kaboodle but get used to it for you may be changing clip positions a few time. It's really not that hard and once you do it a few time you will be a pro. The little plate that cover the clip is the hard part.

With the slide/cable hanging off to the side slip the carb onto the flange and tighten the clamp just enough so you can tilt the carb to the right. Slip in the slide, screw down the ring, attach the gas line and give it a go.

OK, OK, there may be a couple thing yet like the gas line. Do you have a couple of these? Very handy and works good.

What jets do you have. Needle jet should be around a P2, needle 6DH3, 40 to 50 pilot jet, main 240 to 300.

There is really not that much to installing this unit and I do not recall haveing any instructions that came with mine.

Hey boz... You will find plenty of help here... 750 or 850 ?
Don't be dismayed at the different advice that comes with carby setup as Mikuni can run well
on very different setups... Tell us what you've got. Check to see that the Air jet is installed at the rear (Air correction jet),.
Found at 6 O' Clock looking from behind (bell mouth). If you can't see a brass jet in there, there should be.
Probably # 1.0... It helps with main jet function.
Mikuni Rule # 1... Not too much throttle for start up when cold. IE .. Don't screw your idle screw up too far, or hold the hand piece open,
just enough to lift the slide a little because the choke lever is not really a choke but a circuit all of it's own and only works properly with the throttle nearly shut.
Once the bike starts and runs, you can set the idle with the "choke lever " off ... Hopefully.
Good luck for an easy transition.
AC.
