I have a Roadster mk2a 1974 850 .
I bought it in 23 boxes , all taken apart .
Now I try to install the side panels , it seems I missing some parts .
Some questions :

1. The right panel is mounted with 2 bolts at the top , will there be rubbers here ?
2. Im missing a bracket for the lower hole , how will this look like ?
3. The left panel upper back , this bracket I have missing the rubber in the panel .
4. The lower hole have a fixing point in the battery cradle , this hole is threaded .
5. The upper front hole , here im missing a bracket , I do not have the air box , and will not have .
How do I make a bracket for this ?

No, just bolts to the oil tank

Lower hole is for a rubber buffer which fits behind the 'Z' plate

A simple grommet, all the above are common to all models, not just the MkIIA
4. The lower hole have a fixing point in the battery cradle , this hole is threaded .
This hole (not threaded on mine) is to take a plastic Dzus fastener which has a mating receptacle on the battery carrier
5. The upper front hole , here im missing a bracket , I do not have the air box , and will not have .

Best solution is to get hold of the original bracket P/N 064111 - which also holds the ignition switch - and make a clamp to secure it to the frame tube

A picture is worth a thousand words... Third set from top.

In this case, only 500 words.

The Mk1A and Mk2A left hand sidecover/fixing is different to that Mk1/Mk2 diagram.
As LAB has illustrated...

Thanks for the info and Photos .

Now I only have to make a bracket for the left upper front panel.
