Side covers

I have a set of fiberglass side covers that are original black but the Commando 750 is in gold and raised up .Has anyone any idea what year they came off,I got them on a 71 S/S.

If they are the same shape as the steel ones, then they are '71-'72 model year. Although the conversion to steel supposedly happened with the later production of the '72 models.
