I have dealt with him twice in the last year. First of all his response to a purchase order is excellent. Both times I placed an order over the weekend and received the parts by Thursday of the following week from the Philippines to the US. Second the parts he supplied are exactly as promised. I replaced my two piece axle a few months ago and just received and installed his full front brake disk system this week. Installation was straight forward and everything fit perfectly. I am not a purist regarding original parts, especially when it comes to brakes. After it was installed and I took it for a ride around the neighborhood, the difference was amazing. It will be nice to have that kind of stopping power when needed. I am just sorry I waited so long to make this change.

Same story here. Items arrive quicker than thought possible, and are always wonderful parts.

And he is a really nice guy to chat with to boot. Some guys just have it all figured out. :D

Keep up the great work. Many of us appreciate it.

Re: Shout out to Madass140 from AUS,

The only real titivation on my '73 Commado hs been Dons single front brake set up and swap to his beautiful valenced alloy rims, My experiences should be used as a tutorial for those seeking to transact business on line. Contact is made and a discussion occurs where Don usually gently persuades one away from the more extreme ideas one might be harbouring, and using his skillful diplomatic ways and vast knowledge on the subject a deal is concluded with an outcome that will delight the punter, avoid disappointment, and probably save the new owner a few bucks.

With the abve in mind, when will we see a Commnado Tank from Don  I want an Interstate model and the recent experiences of AN members has put me right off. The job seems right up Don;s alley! Material is abundantly available in CEBU, there is a skilled labour force, Don has most of the plant on hand, and I would bet the design and tooling to press a onepiece tank bottom with various fillets and additions to suit our many needs would be a challenge he would jmp at.

So how about it Don? Is there a show of hands that would tempt (or spur) you to take on this work, for which many have been crying out, at least subliminally, for so long.

Maybe if members gave their interest a number you could work out how much and how long it might take to pre-sell enough tanks to make it work. If you were agreeable I'd pony up for the aforesaid tank from you without hesitation.

Don went out of his way to promptly help me with an Atlas problem. He is an asset to this Forum.

Slick
