Those roads to east have long straights with small hills. Perfect for running in. If I go other direction it’s mountains and windy. Nice to have choices.

From my memory, the Super Rocket was the first BSA to have twin carbs. I used to have Tribsas which had that frame which was used on the A10 BSA. They handle much better when fitted with the fork yokes from a 1963 650cc Triumph.
