So, the time has come to order spares etc to restore/upgrade my 1971 750 commando.
I am NOT going to crack open the engine or the gear box for the moment, they seem to be fine.
Tires/wheels etc I can get done here.
For now I am going to buy the following:
Front and rear brake re-build kits including shoes.
Fork rebuild kits
Fork rubbers
Chain
Front and rear sprockets
2 into 1 manifold and Mikuni carb w/ air cleaner
Wiring harness
Ignition upgrade kit
Clip on bars, w/new cables/handle bar control housings/rubbers/mirrors
Dunstall type fairing w/clear windscreen/instrument panel/ready for paint
Top and bottom Isoclastic rebuild kits
Foot pegs x 4
Horn
Decals
Gasket set
Headlight interior and upgraded bulb
Exhaust gaskets
Set of case plugs
Primary chain
Braided oil & fuel lines
Hi quality plug wires
2 sets of plugs
Ignition and key

What am I missing

It sounds like you want to get the order right the first time, you might want to consider getting all you stuff from one source. If you can, pick someplace where you can place your order over the phone with someone that knows their stuff and you can hash it out as you go. Dealers that are willing to do this are getting rare.

lansdowne damper KiT?

If your going with clip-ons, you should consider rearsets. You'll be pretty bunched up if you stay with the stock controls.

Without digging thru other threads I don't know the history on your bike. But I would add:
Layshaft bearing
Seals throughout
Isolastics (maybe a headsteady upgrade)
Crankcase breather
Swingarm clamps or upgrade
Shocks

You are gonna need more beer
