Hi all
I know that crank end float shims can be fitted behind either the our bearing track (in the case) or behind the inner track against the crank...
I would appreciate the views either way to the process

Thank you

Comnoz tells us that shins fitted on the crank can break up and disslodge due tomcrank flex.

Therefore, fitting in the case is prefered.

But read up on here before doing even that, many ‘in the know’ will say that it’s very seldom and issue and that usually, what appears to be excessive end float doesn’t really cause any issues.
