Hope it is OK to post this in this section . But I wanted to get as many opinions as possible .
Does anyone have a pair of Saint stretch denim jeans , that they wear whilst riding on their classic Norton ?
If so , what do you think ? are they any good ?

Resurgence Gear Pekev jeans are arguably the best that can be found for our chosen pastime .... pekev is much more long lived than Kevlar and is unaffected by water ... the jeans are fully lined with the pekev down to mid calf .... they out last leather in slide test on asphalt 10.80 seconds they are best abrasion resistance of all materials used in any ride jeans today .... a little $$$ but come with the CE rated D30 removable armour in knees and hips .... can’t find anything else that matches their performance..... regular , skinny , colours etc. available ..... only attribute missing is they not waterproof ....

I'm a huge fan of the Saint products. Note these are not just jeans...they use a high tech "super fiber" called Dyneema which is UHMWPE (Ultra High Molecular Weight Poly Ethylene) at various mix percentages in their products. Better abrasion resistance than Kevlar and greater tensile strength that steel cable at same diameter.
I've got a pair of their "Tough" jeans with 20/80 blend Dyneema/Cotton and a pair of the Model1 jeans with 100% Dyneema in knees,backside areas and hip/knee Knox armour...CE rated for 6 second slide time...which is what you get with leather.
Had these for several seasons now, holding up extremely well. Single layer means very breathable and fine in the heat.

Dang I need that with this current weather. I was out last weekend and my jeans (Spidi JK jeans) were lets say, Swampy :(. I'm looking at all cooler alternatives. In fact I was looking at Bohn armor and regular jeans until this thread popped up. Gonna see what other recommendations come in
 
I didn't like the idea of the Bonn armour under regular clothing...you basically want/need both impact and abrasion protection for minimal safety. That means full leathers with some armour or the newer high tech fabrics with armour.
 
Doc I ride with say the CE ratings a bit gruesome.... for instance one level of CE is rated as stopping bone crushing force while the level before just stops fractures .... kinda turned the ears off so have no details ..... good gear is a must as you age was his message ....

Tested a pair of Hood jeans with armour several years ago by overcooking a really nice corner. Slid about 50 feet and totalled the bike (fortunately not a Norton). The Kevlar Hood jeans worked (as did my Shoei helmet and Alpinstars boots). I'm a believer in the Hood product. It's a plus for me that it's a small family business. They ship to the US no problem.
 
If you read between the lines Bohn ride gear has no certification from any of common gear regulators ... I could be mistaken , if so please inform me ... as mentioned earlier I do some riding with a Doctor , he say most bone injuries can be fixed ... however when skin and muscle is left out on street it makes repairs almost impossible , especially the muscle tissue .... abrasion resistance is now my number one concern when shopping ride gear , comfort would be second .... just sayin ....

Yup...I'm seeing sooooo many riders "squidding" it these days. T-shirts, shorts, running shoes, no gloves. Helmets seem more for cool factor than legal requirements. How many times do we see the rider outfitted suitably yet carrying a passenger, some gorgeous gal with killer legs just waiting to be ruined for life with even minor road rash.

I'm firmly in the " better to sweat than bleed" camp.
