RH10 Head

So the 74 Im picking up has a RH10 head. I've heard that these are very sought after. Is this true?

True, hang on to it with your life. The 74's are the best Commando, nicely reliable 850 torque without the 60lbs of dead weight of an lectric starter.

60 lbs 'dead weight' is it now?

The estimate used to be around 30lbs!

I don't know if the extra 30lbs is due to inflation or exaggeration, but my 850 MkIII with a fully working starter (easily sorted) weighed in at around the same published weight as the non-electric start model when it had its first computer MOT this year, although it is fitted with the lighter peashooters instead of the standard black cap silencers!

Black caps must be heavier than I thought!
