I put a belleville washer in mine and it stopped it flopping around, was a big improvement

About 6 months so far, but I've now fitted a CNW starter so the kickstart doesn't get used. But, it now stays in place very nicely. I think the belleville washer cost about 45p

Mine has lasted one season so far on the same kicker and I have a bag of them if needed.
