Went for leightons.

I have just bought a new foam for my850 roadster from leighton's. Looks and feels like its going to be more comfortable then the original. maybe the leanometer will like this one. Dereck
 
Went for a WOF today, seat is very comfortable. Bike passed without the usual discussion on the headlight dipping. Tester declined to ride it for the brake test :lol:

The seat trim is also fixed in position by the cover 'D' clips.
Perhaps a couple of additional clips are required at the front end of the seat?

I'm getting fussy on seats in my old age, my BMW ones are great, the two Norton seats I have are not. I tend to like some feedback as I'm getting for Leightons.
I was going to fill in my NOC application today, we might have to catch up and talk Nortons, I'm just in Onehunga. :D

I can relate to that, it is surprising how well the saddle of a 35 year old old beemer with plenty miles on it behaves, so much better for long rides. Must be the foam they used. Best would be this foam shaped to a Norton saddle. Trouble is to find a supplier that can supply exactly the same type of foam.

Clips are present on the end part of the chrome edge-but probably old and tired
I will exchange or add- NEWS
 
On the few seats that I have done over the years, the front corners are the toughest.
I've found that a combination of the pan metal and the vinyl cover folded over upon itself in the corner can build up a thickness that doesn't let the trim fit up as tight as it does around the rest of the pan.

I have went so far as to remove material from the inside of the plastic trim to make the top line straighter.
