Been doing more research than work in the last few months and came across some interesting information regarding Lucas electrical systems. Seems they wont work unless you get all the smoke back into them. I looked all over for some replacement smoke and happened across some at an estate sale. Thankfully no one there knew the value of this so I got it pretty cheap. Hopefully this will fix my light switch and rectifier problems.
Only thing is I cannot tell if the smoke in it is any good, is there a shelf life on this stuff and if so how do I get or make more. Also it did not have the Churchill tool to get the smoke in the wiring harness. Any ideas where I could find one or possibly make my own?
Haha, I have read so many times on this that I actually found someone who had made a jar of this. I came across an old jar for a few bucks and made the sticker in PowerPoint and mod podged it on.
Just thought I would see what you guys think!
