How hot does a voltage regulator get? I installed my sparx regulator back by the battery, but it's fairly close maybe a 1/4" away. Is this ok, or does it heat up enough that I should move it further?
My Sparx unit is in the battery compartment attached to the back side of the airbox plate. It seems to be fine. There is some airflow back there when you're moving.
