Hi All,
I need your help, please.
I have troubles to mount the rear whell.
Let me start by saying:
-the rear spindle and spacers are new, ebaty bought:
http://www.ebay.it/itm/Norton-P11-750-G ... 2516.l5255
Missing some parts?
When i tight the spindle nut on the sprocket side, the wheel locks up and will not turn over.
I cannot understand:
-if the new spindle set is not right (i know that the spacers in the picture are not in the right series);
-what needs the ring grooved spacer on the drive side if when the spindle is tight and the wheel locked it turns free and have end play about 3 mm;
-if the problem is on the drive side or is the speedo drive.
Do you have some pictures with the rear wheel/spindle mount?
Last question: i laced the rim central on the hub. But now the wheel seems not to be in the center of the swing arm, about 4 mm more on the timing side (could be the problem the spindle spacers sprocket side?).
Thanks for helping me.
Piero
