Disassembled & reassembled my rear hub replacing bearings. Now the drive side hub bearing (the one exiting the cush side of the hub won't spin at all! Pretty sure I got the spacer the right way. Used sealed bearings purchased from Norvil on evilbay. Guessing I need to knock em out and try again. Ideas on what I did wrong?

thx, Rick

Ok, when I unscrewed the right side lock ring and gave the bearings a tap w/ rear wheel axle then both sides freed up nicely, so I'm guessing that I had the lock ring too tight thus freezing the bearings. How tight (or loose?) can this lock ring be left?

Did you follow the procedure given in the manual (H5, 2 & 3), as the right hand bearing must be fitted first and the lockring fully tightened.

If the LH bearing was fitted first, then the assembly will probably tighten up when the lockring is tightened because the LH bearing will have been driven too far into the hub.
