Hi again everyone my triton is nearly complete now but I have just noticed the chrome on my exposed rear shock springs has seen better days does anyone know if these are available separately and preferably in stainless and if so who from many thanks Chris

What shocks are they Chris? Kinda difficult to suggest owt without knowing.
If you don't know, you could remove them and ask someone like Hagon if they have anything similar.
Then again, if you don't know what they are, or how good they are, or how old they are, maybe best just buying some nice new Hagons!?

Take the spring off, measure the free length, the wire thickness and count the number of coils. Then contact someone like Hagon and I bet they'll have something suitable on the shelf.
FWIW I think your shocks look like Girling units, but frankly, they could be anything.
Girling usually used double wound springs – it was I believe Hagon who went over to single wound springs when they brought Girling out. But Hagon have now moved on and the springs and shock body now are a different diameter to the old girling/hagon shocks-don’t say someone didn’t tell you this :!:
