Question on COMMANDO TANKS

Hi All ,,

In my search for a good steel roadster tank for an 850 MK3 I discovered the MK3 version does not have a flanged seam to the front.. Am I correct in thinking there is no difference other than that on any of the 750 or 850 steel tanks with a fully flanged seam ?? .. Will one of these earlier tanks drop straight onto a MK3 or is there some other small differences I am not seeing and would the flanged front come to close to the head stock .. Thanks for your help ..

Apparently, some early Mk3 Roadsters did have seamed tanks, but they should all fit, regardless.
