Problem with current gasoline blends?

Hey Guys...
If the Pakastanis can make great Roadster tanks why aren't they making Interstate tanks...
- if they are where do i sign up?

Interior of the tank seems to be bare metal. As it is, I'll be zinc plating the filler neck. I don't know what I can use on the interior of the tank that can stand up to ethanol, so I'll go bare for now.

As for the availability of Interstate tanks, I would suggest contacting your Norton supplier to see if there is a list. If the manufacturer were to get, say, 50 requests, he may make another style available.

Someone at the INOA Norton rally was telling me that the Pakastani tanks have much thinner metal than the stock steel tank. Any truth to this?

I didn't think to measure, but it looks/feels to be 18-20 gage (.03 -.04"). Filler neck is the same thickness as my 'glass tank, but the cap flips the other way (hinge facing the rear rather than the front)

Once my paint hardens, I'll measure.

It feels sturdy enough to hold fuel, but I wouldn't stand on it!
