points adjuster eccentrics replacement

Can the points eccentric adjusters be replaced- the ones that set dwell gap. Seem to be rivetted or peened on back side

No, they are replaceable. If you pull the points assembly off, those adjusters just fall out.

Old Britts list them but they're on back order at this time. Phil at Fair Spares has had them when no one else did. www.fairsparesamerica.com

They're the points plate (advance-retard) adjusters.

The points gap adjusters are riveted to the points plates.
