Pea Shooter exhausts commando .

Anyone in the UK know were to get new standard looking pea shooter replacement silencers for a 961 please.

Yes, I ordered a set of the 'Loud ones'. They looked great and they sounded epic! posted from Germany to UK with no issues.

I had Thiel shorts on my previous 961. They looked and sounded fabulous and are top quality.

They were a tad louder than the stock shorties when run without the removable baffles. The baffles are surprisingly effective and reduce the noise levels a lot when fitted.

I’d like to see Dommie megaphone type (silencers) fitted to the 961. Or, alternatively, something similar to the Street exhaust. Obnoxious is ok - can’t be any more so than the average open pipe Harley.

Great neighbours, lots of open hinterland all around and no annual MOT to worry about. Result - loud pipes save lives (ish).

Love the sound but don't they suite the 961 Commando at all.

Agree in that form Clive. If I were going to go down the megaphone (higher ‘silencer’ - clear misnomer) route I’d have a set made.

The rear exhaust hanger frame would need to be shortened (I’ve seen this done already), whilst the slight curve in the end of the pipe would be extended a little to reflect the curve on the underside of the seat unit. I think it would work well - I’ll photoshop a mock-up at some stage.

Laziness on the ‘Commando’ thing I think. Which also accounts for my principal peeve - ‘TVS 961’!!! We’re our own worst enemy!

TVS are purposefully kept in the background at Norton, for obvious reasons, but some highlight it on a daily posts - mainly on FB. TVS hold the purse strings - in the background - as it should be.

No sign of them here! Which makes sense to anybody who understands basic marketing.

Not a problem if you own a Thruxton - take yer pick!
