Think I'll wait for the starter using the steel timing gears, primary stays untouched, more accurate timing and you get a magneto too ;).
Is there a magneto incorporated into the starter design too? I'd only heard the timing gears were a necessary beginning to the desired outcome of an electric start to be run off the rear position.

and you get a magneto too

Was meant to be a joke, the starter will look like a magneto to a casual looker.

Maybe we could coordinate ourselves to kick it over just when we hit the button. It would look like we kicked it over but no wear and tear on the knee. humm

I saw a Hinckley Triumph fitted with a kickstart lever, it was a fake one, it was connected to the starter switch which was operated by moving the lever.

Take a look at Tritonthrasher's Avatar....

Isn't that what Brit bikes are all about?

I've seen guys with new Harley's that have fitted fake tank shifters as well as fake kickstarters. What a bloody joke. They probably put their 1% 'er costume and fake beard on and run around the house pretending to be a bad ass at home.

For the old timers, on the TV show "Then came Bronson", that is exactly what he would do, pretend to kick his sportster and hit the button  The sportster would even morph into a dirt bike for some sequences
