oil tank question

hello all in the process of running my 75 mk111 checking every thing out yesterday i noticed oil splashing a little differently in the oil tank noticed the pipe coming up to the top of the tank that is crimped is spewing oil out just below the the crimp. i'm guessing that oil pipe was for a chain oiler that was put to rest but not sure. changed all my oil feed and return lines filter to. looks like the pipe might be cracked below the crimp or is this just the return flow ? thanks mc

There should be two holes just below the crimp, if that's where the oil is spewing out its the return pipe. There shouldn't be any other pipe in there.
