Oil pressure gauge question..

Best place to take an oil pressure reading from?
I was thinking of taking pressure off of one of the rocker tappet spindle covers.
Years ago that's where I took it from on an 850 I had in the early 80's. I had a cover supplied by "British Marketing" with an npt thread and compression fitting adapter.
For the life of me, I can't seem to find a similar cover from a current vendor.
Ideas? Sources? Pics?

I have just had a crack at that little gem:

Read the post earlier. Didn't want to get into tapping from the oil feed line or it's fittings. Was hoping to find a thicker "oval" tapet cover from which a feed take off could be had.

I made one out of aluminum stock. Will post a pic tonight.

Here it is. Crude and homemade but it works.
