They had a good summer offer in place before, and now the Autumn offer, so I kinda think you’d have been pretty unlucky to have paid RRP in the last months.

The summer offer was quite good… so what’s the winter offer gonna be like ??

buy one get one free...lol . Seems like they're tryna shift the 250 sharpish....

Just sent a meter reading to British Gas and if you get a smart meter from them you can have a black or silver one complete with wheels. 😄

When i ordered mine, it was the other way round Tony... the dealers were under cutting the factory... i am very happy with the deal ' I ' got .
What was the deal? And please don't say you can't share. Dealers are only allowed so much movement on MSRP or MAP

Do they have "inventory clearance" sales in the UK? Not that they have inventory but if they have 250 bikes to build off available parts etc they will need to clear them out or it will turn into the Harley Davidson issue of 5 year old brand new Sportsters sitting on dealer floors

They'll be offering cheap Shakespearean camping equipment - "Now is the winter of our discount tents" (boom boom!)

We paid 21 thou GBP for a Classic, but that has the full carbon pack.
The circumstances of that purchase included a now-or-never motive due to unavailability in the EU.

As of now, if you were to take a pesimistic outlook, possibly the Commando could even be discontinued. Would it be such a surprise? Sure would explain many of the things going on today. It´s not like it´s a supported model (private laugh to myself).
If that is the case and you want it, just get one because it is the last bike of its kind ever and it is actually in production today due to several previously unimaginable coincidences. A relict of how things were in a world were a bike of this spec should not exist from new (for better and worse).
In this, I am saying that regardless of it all, it is still very much worth it.

I think it's more likely than not.
Two factors, Norton must pay a royalty to Jinlang for each 961 produced, and of course, the new twins scheduled for release, or unveiling, or something this time next year.

I wonder who is making the 961 engine parts ?

I wonder who is making the 961 engine parts ?
Frankly, I've been wondering the same thing.
Did Norton re-engineer engine components, and then:
- have Jinlang supply parts to those new specs?
- have the original suppliers to Norton (Donington) supply new spec parts?

It's a mystery, and I'm sure that Norton will never divulge where the parts come from.
