I was messing around the carbs this morning, Amal 932s, and noticed that the banjo bolts that feed the bowls don't match. One has a small bore of about 1/8-inch, the other has a much larger bore, nearly 1/4.
Instantly I disliked the smaller bore bolt as I want as much fuel getting to the carbs as possible. I wonder if anybody else has ever noted the bore size of their banjo bolts. If there was a change from 930 to 932s or what? Is it possible that this could cause some of the balancing problems I have had? Or am I being paranoid over nothing?
Regardless, I know my personality type...I took a dislike to the bolt, it will either be bored out or replaced.
