Norton trouble

Watching a re-run of The Motorbike Show it was interesting to hear the guy who now owns Hesketh explaining how he spends 25% of his time in the workshop, 50% on the financials and 25% in court.
Perhaps that's the reason production output was so low:)

And talking of the great export successes of Garner-Nortons in export this sentence of Skinner is interesting from the above thread:

"No one is saying you didn't help Rich, but the reality is Canada hasn't had a bike for years and the game has changed."

A success story indeed!

No R&D work yet the MK11 came about along with the Domiracer, Dominator, Atlas etc. I am not trying to defend the guy but they were producing bikes and pretty nice ones too and to say there was no R&D, maybe slightly exagerated. Not looking good for Garner though is it

He has to be deluded....
I can say I have never ripped off anyone in my life but reading that you have to wonder what the thinking and mindset is of someone like that.
What did he think would happen in the end.

Spondon was a great company and did not know he had wormed his way in to destroy it.

Wow..... just gets better, fraudulently obtained money to buy Norton !!

Going back to my last post..... He certainly doesn't have the Business acumen people thought, I think the multiple Aston's is the giveaway and a huge insight into his actual greed.

I think it was a clerk in a court house that once said that you can tell the innocent, they sob and protest there innocence as there awaiting transfer to prison after court, the guilty ones sit quietly saying nothing..... note Garners quite walk to his new mode of transport... rather telling.

More references to the Aston's... and photos too!

But most likely that's just the "media" going around making stuff up again

I presume thats a dig at my previous posts, I have never disputed there were Aston Martins, I dispute where the "press" state and many other people have re-quoted the "Press" stating that a report was issued by BDO claiming that Norton owned 6 Aston Martins...I am still waiting for someone to show any evidence of this.... The point of my post was simply to point out you should not believe everything you read in the "Press"

You're correct, apparently BDO inventoried 4 or 5 Aston Martins... not 6

"“four or five Aston Martins and a couple of Range Rovers” which are claimed to have been used by Norton CEO, Stuart Garner. These have been taken away as they are considered assets of the business."

Whatever you might think of SG, IMO he is not a nice man, he would try and get other people’s money any which way he could, who could forget the £I million crowdfunding scheme (read scam) !
He really thinks money grows on trees!!!!!

I’m just wondering who’s going to play the part of Stuart Garner in the made for TV movie. Truth is stranger than fiction.
