Norton trouble

Who knows about the last part, back to you now, why so concerned if not fixated on press report accuracy??

Not fixated, just amazed how people like to cling on to "facts" that simply are not true. Then quote those "facts" like they know what they are talking about...

I cant remember why I joined this forum, I guess it was because I have a Norton

why??
Why?...I simply asked one question which was why did the press report that BDO claimed that Norton owned 6 Aston Martins?..A statement which I dont believe is contained in BDOs report...I asked for proof of this statement in BDOs report as many people seemed to be quoting it...but as I imagined no proof has ever materialised...
You joined in Sept 2018 and your only posts in all that time are all related to this BDO report, that's 14 posts since Friday all casting doubt on BDO's report.

DVLA (Government licensing office) “keepership” and actual ownership are not always the same thing.

Things like that lead to disputes when firms are sequestered.
That’s true so I guess they will need to go back to source (dealer) and ask who the purchaser was - the dealer name is usually put on the number plate.

Could that not be contracted out to say Porche, Lotus, or Joe's Garage and Stuart Tiller not be aware of it?

Indeed external design companies were used, but it still required budget. My point is that Tiller has to be wrong in his assumption that Norton spent nothing on R&D.

I'm done with you, good luck with spinning others.

I'm not the one spinning anything...I will leave you all to wallow in your imaginary scenarios...and believing everything you read.

If anyone ever gets a copy of the BDO report stating that Norton own 6 Aston Martins drop me a DM.

Maybe listed it as part of the £160K loan. I guess there is some sort of trail even if not an easy paper trail. It's important that nothing has been squirreled away this past 18 months. Anyone aware of what salary he was on, SG that is
That, (SGs salary) I think will be yet another bone of contention as Norton frequently failed to submit their accounts . . . So the answer is, nobody knows!

Six??? I thought it was five?

Wheels within wheels....

I knew of Spondon, I knew that SG had been associated with Spondon, but I didn't know that it was the 'assets' of Spondon that were used to bring Norton back to the UK. Intriguing stuff!

Good question for others to ponder from the ..perhaps new spinner.

why?

I said it before and I’ll say it again, whether it’s 4 or 5 or 6 Astons... it’s a sideshow of the bigger picture.

The circumstantial evidence is mounting by the day against SG. Is everything that’s written on the internet 100% true? Well of course not.

But when there’s this much smoke, there’s a fire somewhere.

I admire your optimistic outlook and ‘innocent until proven guilty’ outlook. But you’re swimming against the tide on this one Dannyy...

...what has when I joined this forum got to do with anything?

Well, as you asked...

When someone has been a completely silent passive member of a forum for a year and 5 months, and then suddenly becomes vociferously involved in one side of one topic, it stands out, it makes people think...

As was once said by a bloke called Bill from Stratford “the Lady doth protest too much”...
