I have a primary drive belt conversion, which I purchased from RGM motors UK.
I also purchased a seal for the clutch pushrod and made my own double adjuster for tensioning and aligning the system.
I now run the clutch dry, and use fibre 'Sureflex' clutch plates. I also have a Tethlon lined clutch cable which I purchased from Vehill cables, UK, ...'Featherlight'.
I now have a clutch which is one/two fingers operation, which has no slip or drag. The clutch action is a smooth as any modern Japanese motorcycle. Of course these modifications come at a price, but the results are impressive.
During restoration I found my clutch basket was worn out and the triplex chain had lost some links, and the bronze clutch plates were warped, so I had to replace these items anyway. This made my decision to upgrade easier.
