No reply from Alton is it just me??

Well all is well that ends well as the saying goes. After a few sort phone calls and few more emails today the parts arrived. A new motor armature new gear and complete reduction shaft with its plastic shear pins. Even though i only needed the geared part of the reduction shaft an had told Paul at Alton my unit was from 2013 he sent all the parts on next day delivery from France to England for free! I had offered to pay and as Alton has at some time changed the armature design meaning he had to locate a new old stock item an thus making it obvious mine was an older unit he said he would replace them under guaranty. So though it has taken time it has not really cost any money so i can't complain i guess not many other suppliers would do that i think so am posting this to lay the matter to rest an acknowledge Altons efforts to resolve the issue.

I too had an excellent experience recently dealing with Alton, and in particular Paul Hamon. Be it with emails or the phone, he was always there to assist and solve my problem quickly and with no expense to me what so ever. Well done Alton!
