Hi all, I'd like to introduce myself. I live in the Netherlands. I own a '72 750 Commando and a '72 Triumph triple.
I am in the process of restoring my bikes. Just put the blasted and powdercoated triple frame together. Will post photo's later.
I am trying to retrieve all the triple parts now as I've taken that bike apart some 15 years ago and have moved several times since.
I hope to get and possibly give some sensible answers here.

As far as your triple goes, you should be able to get some good responses in the "Other Classic Motorcycles" section of this forum. With you 72 750, you should stay right here.

Welcome and you have 2 fine bikes there, you come to the right site as there are a lot of good poeple here that are willing to help.

Hello and welcome to this forum, Concerning questions about the triples, you will have probably more succes at the triple forum on Britbike.com .
For the Commando, you are absolutely in the right place on this forum, I am a long time (40 years approx) owner of a Commando, and have a Trident also. very different beasts. It always strikes me how heavy a Triple feels compared to a Commando, it took me some time to get used to the Trident, also the one down-four up gearchange pattern of the triple almost sent me over the handlebars a couple of times in moments of fading attention, but that was all my fault. Love both the triple and the Commando equally.
