Hello Norton world. This is Kie in Seattle. Seemingly forever I have been in the car/bike world both as an enthusiast and professionally. The last few years it seems I am reverting back to just being an addict lol.

A few months back I was referred to a nice lady from back east who was in town sorting out her recently deceased fathers estate. She had 6 vehicles for sale. A 60’s Lambretta scooter, an 80’s benz sedan and 4 brit bikes.

I channeled my much younger self and bought them all lol. Once an addict, always an addict.

Long story short. At present I have 2 Norton 850 Commandos and 2 BSA’s (a Spitfire and a purple 3-hole thing) to sell.

I registered for this forum today based on a recommendation by someone on the AdvRider forum. I’d like to post them in the classifieds but I would like to make sure that wouldn’t be bad form since I am brand new.

Full disclosure… vintage brits are not my usual thing. Simply put, I am out of my element. I must say though that after blasting around the city on an 850 MK3 I kind of “get it” now.

Hi and welcome Kie.

It’s ok to to post in classifieds and enjoy the forums here. Note you have to upgrade to VIP to post in classifieds section. Only a few bucks a month.

Jerry

thanks @Jerry Doe blasting around on the 850 MK3 has been a blast. Very interested to try the BSA’s… especially the 3 lunger!

Motoshed! Nice bikes, love the red Commando. Hope you got that out in Monday's incredible weather.

@Jdub the red ‘74 Commando seems to be missing a button that makes the engine work. Haven’t been brave enough to kick on it yet.

My good friend that owns the Motoshed name/biz moved out of state. The name is still on the building for nostalgia I suppose.

Only '75 Commandos (and ones that have been treated to an electric start kit) have start buttons. The rest are kick only. Suggest you keep the '75 and come to the rally we are having in Northern California in June, where you will meet fellow motor addicts. See events column.

Also, the Northwest Norton chapter is very active and full of great, friendly people, and so is the British Columbia chapter. Make some new friends!
