Since I was 17, (Iam 64 now) I have never been without a british bike.
So over the years I have become on first name terms with many british bike part suppliers.
I figured that it was about time for a change, so I opted for something totally different instead.
I recently came across this little Italian, it's a Benelli 250 sport special of 1969.
I always had a soft spor for these bikes, and when I came across one lately, I just could not resist it.
So here is my latest project, it shares the workshop with my British bikes now.
It needs a lot of work, it looks better on the pcture than it actually is, but that's part of the fun.
Part suppliers for these machines are a bit thin on the ground, and there is not very much info on the web.
My wife already looks forward to trips to Italy with me to buy spares
