My first ride on the Sunburst

Yves, when I was a young man I crashed a motorcycle racing on the streets. I broke my hip socket which they operated and screwed back together. I broke my collar bone which was reset, and I had my back punctured by a cut off sign post next to the roadway which took 100 stitches to close. A few people who pulled over at my crash saved me from bleeding to death. (god bless them)

I had a hip operation where they screwed my hip socket back together again. When I woke up from the operation, my ass cheek was the size of a basketball. It took me a long time to walk again, but I got there. Be patient, because it's obvious to me that you are going to recover just as I did, but you need to heal up so you have a good amount of ability to get back into traffic on your bike again to dodge the idiots that are still out there on the road. Don't rush yourself! If you need to take a few more weeks to get stronger, it might be smart to start slowly by riding around the block every day for a week, then ride a few miles every day the next week and get a slow progression going so you don't have a problem.

I say this with the hope that you have the same result as I did. Full recovery, and many miles yet to travel on your precious...
