Hi,
Does anyone know this company ''BRITURO NORTON BLACK CAP INTERSTATE COMMANDO MK3 ''. they made all kind of mufflers for motorcycle and they are located in Englang where our bikes came from. Is't good for a 1975 Norton Roadster.

The Black caps restrict performance and are quiet, by changing the mounting plates you can fit Peashooters and once you have the main jets dialed in you will gain performance and the sound is to die for  . I run peashooters plus the black airbox and run 260 mains instead of 230 mains. There are pleanty of people doing the peashooters, I got mine from RGM in UK.

Hi,
Is there any multiple Peashooter or they made one size for MK3.
P.S. Sorry it's my 1st restoration for Norton. The last one I had was a Comando S in 1972

MkIII models were only fitted with the black caps, but standard peashooters should fit the MkIII pipes if you fit the set of 6 "peashooter" plates, or you could use four of the original black cap plates if you made two adaptor plates to replace the outers on each side?

Factory peashooter plates (the heavy zinc plating doesn't look very nice)

My MkIII fitted with peashooters and polished stainless steel peashooter plates (much better looking than zinc!):

The peashooters were fitted to some of the 750's and the MK1 and MK2 850's, the black cap were fitted to the MK2a and MK3 in conjuction with the black plastic air cleaner, the exhaust pipes take both so you just have to get the mounting plates for a MK1 or Mk2 850 as can be seen in LAB's photos, a common modification and if you ring RGM or Mick Hemmings or a large NA dealer they will know what to supply, I redrilled the black cap plates to match the new silencers and its not noticable.

If you want to stay std, RGM did list black caps with peashooter internals at one time, they may still do them.
