Ms Peel

I don’t think Hobot came up with the Tri-link set up, there are definitely other guys on here running similar. I suspect the idea may have come from the Harley world where similar set ups were created for the rubber mounted ‘Dyna’ range.
The first Hardley (new word for me that i first heard here lol) rubber mount engine, generally considered the best was a factory 3 point mount deal starting ~ 84 fxr - flh. The Fxr frame was also highly praised but labor intensive to manufacture.

Many years later came the Dyna line with an easier cheaper to manufacture frame, that went with a 2 point mount deal, then folks came up with an add on 3rd.

you'uns remember that guy Hobbot ? the stream o consciousness poster? he had a thing i think for a dame named Ms Peel ran across this on YouTube.. where he at?

for new folks who never hearda..

Anyone know or have info for the front disc/rotor?
stumbled on some

I had read a while back that Hobot lost part of a foot in a lawn mower accident.
His written prose was a thing of head scratching beauty. A backwoods American hero.
Make gravel great again!

His accident involved a brush hog, a tractor based implement designed to mow down small diameter trees and brush. These things often eject objects from under the guard at high velocity. Dunno exactly how his right foot became involved.

Last I heard he was working on a prosthetic device that would allow him to kick over a Norton .

He is a Chiropractor and lives near Mt Home , Arkansas.

Slick
