Ms peel and Trixie for sale on Facebook

The first picture is with the submarine window open, second picture is a motor that must weigh 10 lbs. that's not connected to anything. Third picture is an oil filter I think, and last one of the bent swingarm and the shocks. There are also other things I will leave off, wow he had an interesting imagination. The paperwork that came with it is amazing, I think he must have kept everything. One thing I saw was he had a Mega Cycle with a Norris D+ grind put in it, don't think that was such a good thing. LOL

Yesterday I went to a horde of Norton parts and the fellow had a Druin in a box supposedly brand new (20 or 30 years ago) and a Quaffe 5 speed trans for sale approx $3500 apiece. Lots of other stuff too.
Wouldn’t mind having that drouin! Then the Nort and the MG would be supercharged! Is 3500 decent price? I imagine the market is quite small…

Thanks guys, I have one of the newer ones but it's bent. I wonder how hard it is to bend them back??
You need a simple jig and a press. Then overshoot the deflection in the negative direction and some, in small steps, mind you. There was a posting of the setup on this site a few years ago.

I have heard that if your hard on them they do bend, and many are bent from dumping the clutch and popping wheelies. Maybe I'll try and bend it back myself? I have a few big clamps and a bench that I think could work, I'll also search for that thread. Thanks for your help. Chuck.

I'm not sure what they go for, the one that came with the bike looks good. He even had the thing balanced.

If yo are interested I can ask him. I hardly know the guy, only met him once for two hours. He and a friend of mine started the Norton club in Seattle a long time ago. I will be seeing him early next month.

Regarding that ‘motor that’s not connected to anything’ are you sure it’s not an alternator with that wheel designed to be driven by the outside of the primary belt drive?
Yeah, inventive, but talk about weird. Not likely ever going to need 80amp output on an old Norton.

Oh, thanks but at this point it's just a pipe dream. I blew up my desert sled TR6C last month and am several thou into that at the moment, so funds will need to be replenished before any new norton stuff comes home. Still haven't paid the machine shop man yet either...

It could be, It's a Denso so maybe they did make something like that. It would be nice if that is what it is, thanks for telling me.
