I'm planing to do the Brembo front brake master cylinder upgrade soon. I would like to replace the switch gear with a single one on the left side for the turn signals, high / low beam & horn and replace the clutch lever with a more modern one so my short little fingers can have a dog leg lever, maybe even a nice adjustable one. Does anyone know how to determine which ones will work with a Commando clutch and give proper leverage? Cable ends are not a issue as I can make custom cables. Thanks, Glenn.

Call Matt at CNW, I fitted his Brembo MC and controls for both sides, he has the Magura levers and anything you need. The front barks works a treat now and as well as either of my 2 Hinckley Triumphs.

Hit up a wrecking yard. All Japper controls are 7/8" so they'll fit right on and much cheaper than buying new stuff.

I'm planning on going to Matt @ CNW for the front brake stuff but I'm leaning towards the nice aftermarket Italian lurch levers that are fully adjustable. Am I correct in asuming that any good quality clutch lever that mounts to a 7/8" diameter bar work with the Norton clutch ?

I bought a Magura, and I like it. The slug on the lever end of the clutch cable is different than stock, and Rabers had to solder on a replacement. CNW, like Rabers, probably does it as part of the sale, but I would check to see if you need a new cable before buying any non stock levers.

Hi gtsun,
On ebaymotors, motorcycle parts and accessories, a search for left or right handle bar switch will find you many options.
For $30 I bought a Suzuki GSXR1000 left hand switch which has Hi/Lo, directionals, horn, Hi beam flip button, and a 4-way flasher button that I converted into a kill switch. If you go the ebay or boneyard route for a switch try to find out the make and model bike it came off of, that way you can later obtain a wiring diagram which will be helpful when hooking it up.
Presently I have a Suzuki lefthand switch, Kawasaki clutch lever and perch, Honda CBR600RR front brake master cylinder and lever. I know what it sounds like, but the combination looks just fine.
