I am trying to decide on type and size of tires for my 75. I have the original rims, the manual says they are WM2. I looked for markings on the rims and found nothing on the rear rim, but curiously the front rim is marked "MC 275". Does anyone know if they are indeed WM2s and what the MC 275 means?
Thnks,

Each particular variation of Dunlop rim had its own code number.

For instance, MC275 is the Commando WM2 - 19 front disc brake rim (at some point during MkIII production, this apparently changed to MC288). The MkIII WM2 - 19 rear rim seems to have been either MC287 (early?) or MC289.

The WM2 - 19 Commando front/rear drum brake rim is: MB41 (except for some or all rear 850 MkII/IIA's which could be MC286).
