Stamped markings on gears - do they match or not?

Here´s a list of the markings on the gears in my gb, would be interesting to hear if there really are two (or more?) different sets of gears for the Commando? Some say there is - hope someone spots something wrong! The only difference I know is the change from 24t to 23t on the lay shaft second for the -74 and on, the 18t second on the main shaft was also changed. So this is how my gears are marked:
Main shaft:
First: 14t - "AH"
Second: 18t - "AH"
Third: 21t - "36"
Fourth: 23 - "AP"

Layshaft:
First: 28t - "AH"
Second: 24t - no markings.
Third: 20t - "36"
Fourth: 18t - "6"

Is there a mis-match somewhere? I almost hope so, then maybe I can get this noise to stop.

The high ratio 2nd gears would be marked AHB with a groove in the ends of the dogs.

check the OD of your 4th sleeve gear , just in case ??

But my lay shaft second gear has 24t so it´s the early type? And since the main second gear is marked "AH" it is the correct gear, but an early original?

There is a difference of .050 between commando and dommie sleeve gear. There must be a corresponding difference of the layshaft 4th also. Is there someone out there handy with calipers who could give me the O.D. of these gears?

Yes, although the latest early gears from AN are now marked AHA.

I think most of the internals in my box are from 1970.
