MK2 owners

Hello,
yes I have a MK 2 sport which I have had since June, 2400 miles on the clock and going very well.
Only real problem picked up a 4 inch long 1/4 hardened steel bolt in the back tyre had to be recovered back home.

Sounds great! Did you carry out the various mods and upgrades discussed on this site by Richard etc?

I have a 2016 SF With 245 miles.
So far I've done the trans vent.
Replaced the foot controls and heel plates, shifter arm, gauge cluster, top and bottom yolks, bar risers and clamps to the polished pieces from Norton.
I'm still waiting on my Aluminum gas tank and Motad catless short exhaust. Should be any day now.

I own a March 2016 Mk 2 with 1400 miles on it, it is a thing of beauty to look at, sounds like a bag of nails, is in need of some factory attention (factory is my closest 'dealer'), but it puts a smile on my face when I ride it.

Oh dear!

Well at least you're close to the factory Keith.

Any idea what 'attention' it requires?

It hunts between tick over and 2500rpm and is reluctant to rev above 4000rpm, they think it is either the ecu or a sensor.

Hello Richard , Very glad to hear that you finally get your bike back.

Glad you got your ride back. Hopefully you'll have a few weeks of riding season left.

Hi, how can you tell if your bike is a mark 2. I've just bought a brand new bike so I'm assuming it is.....

Hmmm, I had assumed I was buying a brand new bike when I bought it. Checked the VIN and it was manufactured in 2015. Not sure if it's mark 2 or not. Doesn't have mark 2 on the side cover. I see thee much difference in the mark ones and twos?
