Rescued this from MK3 yesterday. 920 kit, Boyer ign, head milled, ported and polished & valve job by Christianson, genuine Dunstall silencers (they sound great!) 2 brand new un-mounted K81 Dunlops, all the original bindered manuals, and about 6 boxes of take-offs and extra parts, including a Mikuni carb set up and almost all the factory service tools. The bike runs fantastick, and idles rock steady. Electric starter works too! It's a little snotty up close but i wanted something i can ride now and restore later.

Wow, sounds like someone spent a lot of time and money on that and looks a good 'un. Let me know if you want to get rid of the Norman Hyde seat! I'd love to hear what your impressions of the 920 kit are as I plan to get one for mine- do you know if it RGM, Norvil or JS tackle in there?

Good luck with it! :D

I'm keeping the seat, I really like it.

the 920 kit came from British Cycle Supply here in the states about 15 years ago, i'm not sure of the manufacturer. the bike has a lot of power, probably pulls harder than my combat, even with a larger countershaft sprocket.

the PO had the head milled to raise the compression so that may help too.

I weigh about 170# and I can stand on the KS at TDC and cant get it to move!

Does the electric foot do anything then ? . 8)

Right now the battery is shot, but when hooked to a charger she fires right up. I just got my new Shorai battery but the petcocks and carbs are leaking so bad I don't want to add any more "spark" until I get that sorted out. Then on to why it takes 80# of force to compress the clutch lever!
