Tonight I've decided to reverse the MK 111 primary outer cover drain plug bolt position . The head touches the pipe and vibtates on it . If I put the head side on the interior will there be room for it's head inside ? I'll use sealant . I never use it anyways .

O.K. , reversed the 1/4 Hex Screw , using Hylomar on threads , after cleaning . The casting face , ( interior side ) , is not a flat face for the Screw head to find home . Lots of thread for this screw . Not worried about that , all is tightened down , with the Hylomar .
Now to refit the cover , too hot out . Later .
Enjoy .

Add spacers behind the exhaust nuts, such as crushable exhaust rings, and rotate pipes for more clearance...
Job done . Reversed the protruding Screw . Hylomar sealant on threads . . Fit of cover was perfect and no touching of any primary internals . Started up fine with no more vibratings to L.H. pipe . Yay !
